Lots to like here. The staff here are so helpful and friendly. All of them always smiling and ready to offer advice. We needed a few things for the room and we rang reception - delivered super quick and always with a smile. Thanks for your service👍 Beds are very comfortable. Room perfect for what we needed. We spent all day out seeing London and also took in a musical on shaftesbury avenue. Location superb for theatreland and places to eat/ coffee houses and pubs.. All within walking distance. Easy access to underground stations at Picadilly or Leicester Square. The sculptures ( from film) around Leicester Square are worth a visit - as is the Lego shop there! Plenty complimentary fruit, water , teas & (nice)coffees in the room . Also complimentary fruit drinks and water in reception- nice when you come in after a day being a tourist in London. Fab coffee shop right next door too!! Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

It’s a 5 minute walk to Piccadilly Circus & where you can access the Bakerloo & Piccadilly line. 2 minutes walk from the theatres . 10 minutes walk from Tottenham Court Road if you are coming from LHR and take the Elizabeth line it’s super direct. But apart from the amenities, the staff are all so lovely, friendly and welcoming. Planning to come again in September for a mates big birthday and we will definitely book Montcalm again. Hopefully I might get to try out the Spa 😊 I did see 1 negative review on Montcalm concerning Gail’s the cafe next door, I have to disagree, they had a lovely selection for breakfast and lovely little pastries and lunch options throughout the day and again the staff here are really friendly.

The hotel was amazing from start to finish. Our room was ready earlier than expected and the room was lovely. We had complimentary fruit in the room and the receptionist sent up some complimentary drinks and chocolates. They were so kind. My little girl drew them a picture and wrote a thank you note. When we checked out, they let us leave our bags to go explore london and when we returned for them gave us a gift bag of elemis treats and mini prosecco. Overall a fab stay. The heated bathroom floor was great in the cold. The mini bar was well stocked. I think the receptionist was Victoria? Apologies for not remembering but she was the best. Definitely deserves a bonus x

The hotel was a great find. Excellent position for West End shows. Room was lovely, very smart and great facilities. The complimentary fruit bowl was of excellent quality and very thoughtful. Staff were all lovely and helpful. Didn't use Gail's for breakfast but did go in there for coffee and a snack on the afternoon of arrival. The quality was very good but not what I personally would particularly like for to eat for breakfast. We did have a good deal on the room as we booked last minute. Wasn't cheap but was worth the money for such a lovely room and position. Would definitely use again.

Montcalm didn’t disappoint. They had up graded us as a surprise for my husband’s birthday, they had left birthday wishes, Prosecco and birthday cake. They had also decorated the bed beautifully! The staff were faultless. The area is brilliant for theatres, restaurants and sightseeing. Our big tip would be that, as you are staying in central London, common sense tells you that it could be noisy outside at night, so take earplugs, as we do whenever we are travelling. About 11 minutes walk away, there is great manned secure car parking, expensive but worth the peace of mind.
